Major projects completed:

  • Took the required survey of the Organizational Culture Map survey for the DEI Committee at the DOE
  • Preparation for Co-presentation with the GPCOG's AmeriCorps member with their member conference session on how to use Enneagrams for professional development
  • Attended the Maine Marine Ecology Collaborative Summit to generate ideas for how the Maine Department of Education can support increased access to marine science opportunities
  • Planner training in Microsoft Teams
  • GTF meeting agenda to go over the plan to "right-size" a few AmeriCorps programs and the Special grant initiative for Maine Conservation Corps to support increased access to marine science opportunities.
  • Meeting with MDF staff to discuss their grant utilization, as they have only filled two of their five slots for the year
  • Setting up Fixed Formula ARPA funding codes for subgrantees
  • Closed out 18ESHME001, the Maine Conservation Corps; Final GPR submitted, and all close-out documents sent to Regional Portfolio Manager
  • Attended the ASC Northeast Region Check-In
  • Processing of PER's and reimbursement request for all AmeriCorps programs
  • Staff tech support and host for the networking sessions for the AmeriCorps Member Conference
  • Sent out AmeriCorps survey (Marine Ecology) to assess how many slots would be needed for those organizations present at the Marine Ecology Summit
  • Working with Maine Conservation Corps staff about potential extra slots they might need to respond to the Governor's initiative to provide high quality marine ecology education to youth

Issues to be aware of:

  • MEAP has already lost their new Program Director, therefore the program will be close-out, effective immediately
  • MDF's Program Director is resigning, the program will continue with a new PD in place, there is a corrective action that was delivered to them based on their lack of full enrollment, which is due in April

Major focus of effort for the next month:

  • Close-out of Maine Energy AmeriCorps Program
  • Developing civic reflection training material for AmeriCorps members for the second call
  • Continued an ongoing review and process of Periodic Expense Reports (PER's), Periodic Income Reports (PIR's), Aggregated Financial Reports (AFR's) and Grantee Progress Reports (GPR's) along with corresponding reimbursement requests
  • AmeriCorps member interviews
