Major Projects:

  • State Service Strategy outreach and listening sessions: coordinated outreach with non-profits, municipal representatives, community organizations, and individuals involved in community service/ volunteerism to attend listening sessions as part of the data collection process for the 2027-2030 State Service Strategy
  • AmeriCorps Alumni monthly newsletter
  • Participated in interviews for VISTA position
  • Attended listening sessions for Penobscot, Aging Mainers, and Youth Organizations
  • Created materials for Maine Volunteer Leadership conference including social media promotions, agendas, session summaries, stickers, and signage
  • Public Policy Task Force Meeting

Issues to be aware of:

  • Public announcement for Volunteer Generation Fund awards in early August

Major focus of effort in new month/ ongoing:

  • Maine Volunteer Leadership Conference on August 4th
  • Preparation for Commission retreat and AmeriCorps member conference in September
