Climate Corps Coordinator: April 2024

Major Projects:
Met with Maine Service Fellow and Supervisor for final site visit; supported end of service close out for member.
Complete grant agreements and support launch of new Maine Climate Youth Corps grants; hosted orientation for new grantees.
Attended Symposium on Climate in Our Nation’s Service in Washington, DC. 
Assisted with AmeriCorps Formula RFA process. 
Ongoing:
Met with contacts in government, Maine organizations, and national service programs. 
Finalize Volunteer Management MicroCredential Course content.
Supporting Maine Service Fellow located in Dover-Foxcroft.
Attended staff meetings and trainings.
Attended Maine Climate Council Resiliency Workgroup meetings; contributed to strategy/action recommendations for incorporating climate resilience in emergency management and psychological resilience. 
Continue to support Maine Climate Corps grantee with program operation, reporting, and close out; meet with first alumni of Maine Climate Corps Network to support their career transition.
Follow up on invoices and reimbursement requests.

Upcoming Project Focus:
Assist with Governor’s Service Awards and AmeriCorps member conference.
Speak on panel during Center for Ecological-based Economy Event
Prepare to host summer intern
Attend Maine Prepares Conference
Continuing to meet and have calls with representatives of Maine organizations, national service, state government, etc. 
Participate in Community Resilience Climate Council workgroup. 
Manage Maine Climate Corps Network including soliciting new program applications; supporting recruitment efforts. 
Support Maine Service Fellows and recruit for newest host sites. 
Co-host second session of Facilitation training
