Governor's Awards for Service and Volunteerism is on Monday, April 24th.
Working with MEMA to conduct a "Train the Trainer" expo for everyone who can make it in Maine.
VGF NOFO was release -- due date of May 12. This grant will be focused on volunteerism as a pathway for work force readiness skills.
Staff is applying for the Community Foundation's Community building grant to support the Maine Volunteer Managers Network. Grants are up to $10K -- expected notification June 1.
We were successful in getting the Micro-credentialing grant, $10K, that will allow us to get develop beginning level of volunteer management. An advisory committee has been established and we are working through the next steps.
