Major projects completed:
- Attended the Community-Based Research as a Vehicle for Civic Engagement and Community Impact with ASN
- Meeting with PD at Game Loft to discuss the site supervisor functions/set-up in OnCorps
- Participation in the member conference planning every Wednesday
- Attended the AmeriCorps Modernization Session call with other State Commissions
- Participated in the Hall of Flags event for the Governor's Awards for Service and Volunteerism
- Connecting with Program Directors who require extensions on the progress reports due to ASC conference (NOLA)
- Meeting with Executive Director to discuss work plan through June
Issues to be aware of:
- Game Loft is going through a significant transition as their new program director has left after being onboard for only a few months.
Major focus of effort for the next month:
- Attending the ASC Regional Conference in West Virginia
- Continue reading the staff assigned book about volunteer engagement, Transforming Disruption to Impact, to discuss in later staff meeting
- Attending 'Strengthening your Facilitation Skills' classes at the Hutchinson Center
- Review the contract template to make sure that the fixed amount is correct and includes the quarterly income report requirement
